A centre turned prop forward, Ruben Wiki was captain of the Kiwis team that beat the Kangaroos 24–0 to win the 2005 Tri-Nations competition. It was a drought-breaking victory, New Zealand's first in a Tri-Nations series since 1978. Wiki played a total of 55 test matches for New Zealand between 1994 and 2006, captaining the Kiwis in 18 of those tests. He is shown here in Huddersfield, England, during the second test match of the 2002 Kiwis' tour of Britain.

This is an awesome resource. The kids in my year 5 class have found it super helpful for writing their origins of rugby league speech
