Rotorua Bridge Club, 2011

Rotorua Bridge Club, 2011

New Zealand bridge clubs are unusual internationally in that most are run by members as incorporated societies, rather than being privately owned. This makes it easier for New Zealand clubs to own their premises, and from the 1950s many did so. These photos show the spacious premises of the Rotorua Contract Bridge Club, with its members engaged in a bridge tournament.
