Olearia lyallii, the Snares

The Snares are heavily forested by the tree daisy Olearia lyallii, shown here at Station Point above Boat Harbour on North East Island. To the left, on the rocky point at the harbour entrance, is a Snares crested penguin (Eudyptes robustus) colony.
