Uniforms: Centennial Exhibition team

This team, taking part in a massed display at the Centennial Exhibition in Wellington in 1940, wear short skirts, tightly fitted satin tops and peaked caps reminiscent of military band uniforms. Possibly for reasons of economy, they wear sandshoes rather than boots.
