Wearing a pig tusk necklace, Tupuna Joseph leads dancers celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Porirua Cook Islands Culture Group in 1996. The festivities included dance, singing and kai kai (food). Members of the Porirua Pacific Islanders’ Church formed the group to teach the younger generation traditional songs, dances and craftwork.
