Anthony Wilding mid-serve, 1914

Anthony Wilding, who was killed in 1915 during the First World War at the peak of his career, remains New Zealand's most internationally successful tennis player. He won the Wimbledon men's singles title from 1910 to 1913 and the doubles title in 1907, 1908, 1910 and 1914, and was part of the winning Davis Cup team in 1907–9 and 1914. This is Wilding mid-serve during a Davis Cup match in 1914.
