Fisher & Paykel Healthcare chief executive, 2003

Increasingly New Zealand is exporting manufactured goods. The New Zealand-based international company Fisher and Paykel first established a name for exporting washing machines, fridges and dishwashers, but more recently it has become a leader in high-tech medical equipment such as respiratory humidifiers and neonatal warming units. In this photograph, the chief executive of the division, Mike Daniell, stands above the Fisher & Paykel Healthcare factory floor.
