Kōrero: Public buildings

New Zealand House

New Zealand House

New Zealand's High Commission in Britain, New Zealand House, rises above the Haymarket in London's West End in 1962. Its modernist skyscraper design was a deliberate attempt to convey the idea of New Zealand as a modern and progressive nation. In the foreground is Nelson's Column in Trafalgar Square.
