Treasury meets Māoritanga

In the later 1980s, when Māori issues were acquiring new prominence in national life, Treasury staff were encouraged to learn about Māori culture. Donna Awatere (at right with sunglasses) and Maria Mareroa (in white, behind Awatere) of Ihi Management Consultants lead Treasury officials into a session, at Okataina Lodge near Rotorua, in 1988.
