Counter-terrorist exercise

Counter-terrorist exercise

This photograph shows a member of the Counter Terrorist Tactical Assault Group (CTTAG) on an exercise. The CTTAG was set up in 2005 to augment the SAS in its counter-terrorist role. The name of the unit was changed to the Commandos in 2009, to better reflect its role and the fact that its members were drawn from all three services: army, air force and navy.
