Mater Misericordiae Hospital cardiac bypass team

Brian Barratt-Boyes stands behind his cardiac bypass team and supporting staff at the Mater Misericordiae Hospital in Remuera. The unit was established in 1969, at the instigation of Barratt-Boyes, and he operated there as well as at Green Lane. Team members are (from left) Robyn Jackson, Sid Yarrow, Mava Anaki, Sister Rita Marie, Rebecca Johns, Barratt-Boyes (obscured), Diane Campbell, Louise MacGillivray, Sister Teresa (Greaney), Sister Madeleine (Patrick), Ross Manning, Peter Yong and Sister Patricia (Rowe).
