Anzac Day wreath-laying, 1931

After the First World War, Anzac Day (25 April) became a high point in the vice-regal calendar. Here Lord Bledisloe (on the left in the pair at front) is about to lay a wreath at the new Wellington cenotaph on Anzac Day 1931.
