Suzanne Snively

Suzanne Snively accepts a bouquet upon her retirement as a member of the board of Fulbright New Zealand in 2011. She was a past chair of the organisation, which promotes cultural exchange between the United States and New Zealand. Snively was herself a former Fulbright scholar who eventually settled in New Zealand and became a leading economist. Since the 1990s there has been a considerable inflow of talented Americans who have made a substantial contribution to New Zealand's intellectual and cultural life.
