Olympia motor show, Wellington, 1924

This display of cars at a motor show in Wellington demonstrates the popularity of American vehicles. Ford, Chevrolet, Cadillac and Hudson vehicles were all imported from the United States. During the 1920s there was a significant increase in the volume and variety of consumer items from the US sold in New Zealand.
