The Public Trust is a Crown entity which provides trustee, will and administration services. It was established in 1873, and impressive buildings were constructed throughout the country to house branch offices. This is the Napier office. It was one of the few buildings in the Napier central business district that survived the 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake.
