Members of Zonta, holding their branch banners, walk up the aisle of Knox Church, Dunedin, at the opening of the national Zonta conference in 2007. Zonta, an international service organisation for women executives in business and the professions, originated in the United States in 1919. Branches were established in New Zealand in the mid-1960s, with membership by invitation only.
