Kōrero: Marriage and partnering

This photograph of a young honeymooning couple in the rose gardens at Rotorua was taken by the New Zealand Tourist and Publicity Department – and so the 'happy couple' may actually be actors. The thermal area was one of the popular destinations for couples touring New Zealand after marrying, and had been promoted as a tourist destination by the government for decades.
