I have only discovered via a small death notice in NZ Papers Past, that we are related. Maria would be my great-great-great grandmother. Christine, assuming your father was Victor Jnr, he would be my grandfather's first cousin. My great-grandmother was Margaret Crump nee Gaffey, daughter of Priscilla Gaffey nee Mackay. My grandfather is still living, he and one other sibling. We have no information on Maria, other than what is printed on this site. Christine, we would love to hear from you and anyone else who may be interested.

Although Rose is not a blood relation of mine, her husband was my great great grandfather's brother. I enjoyed reading this article.
