With Christian crosses on their hoods, this line-up of Kombis prepares to take the evangelising message of the Open Air Campaigners (OAC) around New Zealand in the 1970s. OAC arose from a mission at Coogee Beach in Sydney, Australia, in 1892. The first overseas branch was formed in New Zealand in 1954 and in 2010 OAC was active in 20 countries. In the summer of 2009/10 OAC NZ held missions at seven popular holiday beaches around New Zealand. In the early 2000s OAC in New Zealand changed its name to Outreach and Church Ministries.
