Hong Kong Chinese professional worker

Freddy Louie, a migrant from Hong Kong, works at GMP Pharmaceuticals, a company that makes natural health products in East Tāmaki, Auckland. Although Louie had some difficulties at work because of his limited English, his educational background gained him a skilled role in the company. Asian people were well-represented among the professional workforce in New Zealand in the early 21st century.
