Kaiteriteri

Kaiteriteri is the busiest beach along the Abel Tasman coastline. There is a large campground behind the beach, which is very popular with holidaymakers from Christchurch over Christmas and New Year. A safe swimming beach, its crescent shape and coarse golden sands set between bush-covered rocky headlands are typical of beaches in the area. The headland at the northern end of the beach was once a fortified .
