Asbestos: Asbestos Cottage

In 1997 the Department of Conservation employed Anatoki valley carpenter Gregor Koolen (assisted by former New Zealand Forest Service ranger Max Polglaze) to restore historic Asbestos Cottage in the upper Tākaka River valley in Kahurangi National Park.
