Since 2005 the Love Life Fono has brought Pasifika sexual-orientation and gender minorities together to discuss issues of health and equity. This group from the 2009 fono (meeting), held in Auckland, includes leaders from several Pasifika nations and gender-diverse communities. The event included workshops covering health and career issues, transgender lives and internet safety, an 'Ask your Aunties' session, sporting events and a beauty pageant.
