Rob Muldoon is second from left in this 1950 photograph of a Junior Nationals social gathering. He was an active member, chairing the Auckland Divisional Junior Nationals in 1948 and 1949, and participating enthusiastically in debates between branches. He became engaged, and later married, to another member, Thea Flyger (third from left).
