Pub liberations

Women walk into Wellington's New City Hotel lunch bar in 1970, in protest against its 'men only' sign (although there was no suggestion that anything more exciting than a counter lunch was on offer). In the early years of the women's liberation movement, women undertook a number of 'pub liberations' of men-only bars.
