Claudia Chaney (9) and her cat Crystal in Ella's Cuddle Corner at Starship children's hospital in Auckland. Opened in 2010, this is a place where long-term and critically ill children being treated at Starship can spend time with their pets. It is named after Ella Thompson, a patient at Starship who died in 2003.
