In New Zealand, around half of all adults do voluntary work. Aucklander Charlie Williams does a lot of voluntary work within the Cook Island community. He runs camps where young people can learn about their Cook Island heritage, organises youth activity days, runs Bible study classes, does translation work for Cook Islanders who don't speak or write English, and runs errands for elderly people.
