White Sunday (3 o 3)

White Sunday

Children lead a procession celebrating White Sunday (the second Sunday in October) at St John's Samoan Methodist Church in Ponsonby, Auckland, in 2005. The day was founded by the London Missionary Society to honour Samoa's children. Migrants brought the tradition to New Zealand and the White Sunday meal is a huge feast in many Samoan households.
