Hanging up red socks

During the 1995 America’s Cup races held at San Diego, red socks became a symbol of good luck for the New Zealand team. Here Peter Blake and the youngest member of his team, Wellingtonian Philip Jameson, hang up red socks to publicise the efforts of Team New Zealand.
