Unconventional names

Choosing a baby's name is always an important decision for parents. Some names are enduringly popular, while others stand out because they are unusual. In 2009 Bay of Plenty woman Tomicina Davoren decided to call her new daughter Zealand-New after the name was suggested by her mother-in-law Sharron Te Moni. The family liked it because it was unusual.
