Second-hand car dealership, Auckland, 1970s

Second-hand car dealership, Auckland, 1970s

Second-hand car dealerships are often small businesses that rely on catchy names and decorative yards to lure in potential customers. This 1970s Auckland dealership was called A-1 Used Cars – because it starts with an A it appeared early in the list of dealers in the phone book. The yard is decorated with bunting and bright, clear signage.
