Druids

The Druids (and other friendly societies) were part of a procession which marched through Dunedin’s streets for the opening of the Dunedin and South Seas Exhibition in 1889. Ritualistic societies such as the Druids were very popular with tradesmen in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
