Ahuriri and Westshore

The suburbs of Ahuriri and Westshore are sandwiched between Napier’s outer coast and the former inner harbour. Ahuriri, which is between the railway tracks (centre) and the foreshore, contains a combination of industrial buildings (some of which have been reconfigured to house cafés and bars), residential housing and apartment blocks. Westshore, on the curve of the harbour heading north, is a beach suburb studded with houses and motels.
