Cricket in the domain

Parks and domains are among the most appreciated public spaces – a soft green retreat from hard city asphalt. The Auckland Domain was set aside as a reserve at the beginning of its settlement. It was gradually developed into gardens and sports grounds. These children watch a game of cricket in the 1910s.
