Bungy jumping (1 o 2)

Bungy jumping

Bungy promoters A. J. Hackett and Henry van Asch leap in tandem to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their bungy operation, in November 2008. The pair offered the world’s first commercial bungy jump on the Kawarau River in 1988; the sport has now spread around the globe. Bungy jumping was adapted from vine jumping, long practised by Pentecost Islanders in Vanuatu.
