‘This is the best job I’ve ever had,’ says symbolic-analytic services worker Julia Vodanovich, who helps to design and illustrate Te Ara – the Encyclopedia of New Zealand. She has a science degree followed by four years at design school. ‘I prefer design to working with scientists, because in this job your own opinions and suggestions really count.’
