Counting Telethon donations

Counting Telethon donations

Maureen McKerrow, Jackie Stanners, Sheryl King and Elizabeth Doyle (from left to right) count donations to the 1975 Telethon, held in aid of St John Ambulance. The funds were used to set up a National Ambulance Officers' Training School in Auckland. The school closed in 1999 and training of ambulance officers was then carried out by ambulance service providers and tertiary institutions.
