Elisabeth and Neville Findlay founded the clothing label Zambesi in 1979. Thirty years later it remained one of the biggest names in New Zealand fashion. Elisabeth’s sister Margarita Robertson founded another fashion house, Nom*D, in 1986. Both sisters showed their work at London Fashion Week in 1999, and both now export the majority of their work.
