Moving house

Moving house

A happy homeowner shifts possessions into her new house. In New Zealand many people move house on settlement day. This is the day that the new owner pays the balance of the agreed price and receives the keys to the property. Formal paperwork for the transfer of the property is carried out, usually by a lawyer, and the updated title is sent out after settlement day.
