Anti-nuclear protest

Concern that nuclear war could wipe out life on earth encouraged more people to support nuclear disarmament and other peace movement aims. This 1961 anti-nuclear protest up Auckland’s Queen St was led by children – a symbol of innocence and the world’s future.
