Zealandia sanctuary

Zealandia sanctuary

Zealandia (formerly the Karori Wildlife Sanctuary) in Wellington is New Zealand’s only city-based wildlife sanctuary, and was the first of its kind to open in the world. It occupies the valley of the former Karori water reservoir, between the suburbs of Kelburn and Karori.
