While travelling through the King Country in 1885, Alfred Burton photographed six chiefs of Ngati Maniapoto. From left in the back row are Rewi Manga Maniapoto, Tawhana Tikaokao, Taonui Hikaka and Hone Wetere Te Rerenga. Te Rangituataka is seated at left, and Te Naunau Hikaka at right.
