Mohi Te Ātahīkoia

As a young man, Mohi Te Ātahīkoia was successful in securing title to ancestral land through the Native Land Court, but became increasingly concerned about the alienation and leasing of Māori land in Hawke's Bay. This led on to his involvement with Te Kotahitanga, the Māori Parliament.
