Mohair fibre

Mohair fibre

Mohair is a fine, light fibre from Angora goats. It is durable, resilient and warm. It has a high affinity for dyes, and brilliant colour combinations can be achieved, as shown here by Marnie Kelly of Earnscleugh Station in Central Otago. Mohair may be blended with wool in some garments.
