A Muslim bridegroom (3 o 4)

A Muslim bridegroom

Ishaq Baksh is pictured on the occasion of his marriage to Parveen Baksh in India, 1985. Muslim bridegrooms often arrive at the wedding venue wearing garlands and a sehra – a curtain of flowers or tinsel worn over the face. Ishaq wore a sehra when he arrived at the ceremony, but later uncovered his face. The couple are living in New Zealand.
