Corbans wine truck

Corbans wine truck

Lebanese immigrant Assid Corban planted a small vineyard on gumland soils in Henderson in 1902, and founded a dynasty of winemakers and wine retailers. These are three of his children, Khaleel, Zarefy and Annisie, promoting their wine from the back of a truck in Hāwera, probably in the 1930s.
