The Mahmud family from Bangladesh

Sultan Mahmud and his wife Shelley, and their daughters Ritu and Shetu, eat cauliflower and lentil pakoras in their Dunedin home in 1999. The family, who arrived in New Zealand from Bangladesh in 1997, are Muslim.
