Child migrants, Wellington

Among the new immigrants from Scotland in the years between the two world wars were orphans and other children who lacked family support, brought out under various schemes. They included this group of youngsters who began new lives in New Zealand in 1940 at the Presbyterian boys’ and girls’ home in Berhampore, Wellington.
