Lungworm in deer

Lungworms live in the trachea and bronchi, and death occurs when the worms reach such large numbers that the airway becomes blocked. The most prevalent lungworm is Dictyocaulus viviparus. Animals can be treated with a multi-purpose drench that controls lungworm as well as parasites in the gut.
