No added hormones

The New Zealand Poultry Industry Association has affirmed that no hormones are used in the production of poultry meat. The rapid growth rates of chickens are a result of selective breeding and high standards of farming and nutrition. However, some marketing still assures consumers that hormones are not added to chicken feed.
